A great place to visit is the Pulchri Studio in The Hague. The place to be for artists and art lovers was founded in 1847. This beautiful building has been their home since 1901. The address is Lange Voorhout 15. In this building the artists show their works of art. There is a free entrance. The works of art are for sale.
Opening hours of the galleries: Tuesdays – Sundays 11.00 – 17.00 hrs.

Since 1990 the "Regentenkamer" initiates activities and stimulates young artists in various categories. There is a gallery, a music cellar and a furniture cafe. Lots of jazz and world music. Several times a week performing artists, sometimes for free and others times at very low admission prices.

One of the definitions of art is the conscious production or arrangement of sounds, colors, forms, movements, or other elements in a manner that affects the sense of beauty, specifically the production of the beautiful in a graphic or plastic medium.
